Tom Lenton began his audio career out of high school in 1980. He ran audio for the Brethren High School (currently located in Huntington Beach) choirs for about 30 years total. Also working with the schools band and chapels occasionally.
Starting in 1985, He worked with some mid size sound companies based in Orange and Riverside Counties. Town 2 Town Sound was owned by Eddie Keaggy, where Tom worked for about 3 years. Next working at P.T. Pro Sound, Tom worked with the late Pete Tessetori and with Van Metschke. Then, working again with Van at Empire West Audio.
In 1994, Tom went on to at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, CA as their Technical Director, overseeing all tech operations for Church services and other events that the church put on. Tom left after 9 years at Lake Avenue.
Tom then spent a year working with Sam Berkow at SIA Acoustics in NYC. During this time, Tom worked with live sound and Audio Design for the company, as well as helping with acoustic design projects with Sam.
Tom then moved back to California, and took on a job at Mariners Church as the Systems Engineer. Tom also performed tasks as Monitor engineer and FOH engineer. He was involved with audio design and upkeep for many venues on their Irvine campus, as well as design or redesign of campuses in Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach (portable system), and San Clemente.
Since leaving, Tom has also helped Mariners Church design and build a system for their new campus in Santa Ana that just launched this past Easter in 2014. Most recently, Tom, working with Gates Sound, has helped with RF coordination at Covina Assembly of God Church.
